Residents on Australia's northwest coast prepared Saturday for another cyclone to hit, less than 72 hours after a storm swept through a remote mining construction camp, killing two people.Forecasters said the latest cyclone, dubbed Jacob, could make landfall west of the town of Port Hedland late Sunday with winds of more than 280 km/h.
On Thursday, Cyclone George killed a woman and injured 22 others who were sheltering inside a prefabricated building that rolled over in high winds south of Port Hedland. A second person was killed at a nearby ranch, police said.
The region was hammered with winds of up to 275 km/h and left with debris from trees, mobile homes and offices that were torn apart.
