A woman found a live, unexploded mortar shell in her sister’s closet in Mims on Monday night, police told Local 6 News partner Florida Today.
Angela Cassell took the live weapon from the home owned by her father and drove it to the north precinct of the Brevard County Sheriff's Office.
According to the police report, Cassell was helping clean her sister’s closet when she found the weapon.
