The attorney for the two brothers who survived the fatal tiger attack at the San Francisco Zoo has accused officials there of knowingly maintaining a tiger grotto that "couldn't hold a house cat" and demands that city officials apologize for waging a "character assassination campaign" against his clients."We will hold everyone involved accountable for every single instance of this outrageous behavior," attorney Mark Geragos wrote on behalf of his clients, Paul and Kulbir Dhaliwal. Geragos denounced what he called an effort to "sully the reputation of our clients by lying to the press."

The letter also suggests the Dhaliwals have not been entirely forthcoming with police investigators, an accusation Geragos firmly denied.
