Two men were shot to death in Oakland Tuesday evening, police said.Police responded to 911 calls that multiple shots had been fired on the 4500 block of Bancroft Avenue around 7:50 p.m. and found two men lying in the street. Both men had been shot and were pronounced dead at the scene, said police spokesman Roland Holmgren.
The names of the victims have not been released, pending notification of their families. Anyone with information about the shooting should call the department's homicide unit at (510) 238-3821.
