Two men were arrested early this morning for allegedly stealing about $20,000 worth of power tools from a Santa Rosa business.Carlos Aleman, 22, of Los Angeles, and Ruben Hernandez, 29, of Glendale, were arrested on suspicion of burglary, conspiracy to commit crimes and vandalism, police said. A third suspect is outstanding.
Police were called about 3 a.m. after someone saw several people breaking a window and heard an alarm sounding at the Western Tool Supply store on Santa Rosa Avenue. A sheriff's deputy pulled over a van and three men fled on foot.
Aleman and Hernandez were arrested after a short chase, and about $20,000 worth of power tools were found in the van, police said. The third man escaped.
