A man was shot and killed and two people were wounded in three separate shootings early today in Oakland, police said.The man who was killed was shot about 2 a.m. near the corner of 56th Avenue and East 16th Street in East Oakland. The slaying brings to 48 the number of homicides so far this year in the city.
At about 12:30 a.m., a woman was grazed by a bullet that struck her apartment building at 7985 MacArthur Blvd. in East Oakland, authorities said.
It was at least the third time this year that a person has been struck by stray bullets in Oakland.
