Three men are in custody in connection with two homicides in Richmond over the weekend, police said today.Two of the men were arrested in connection with the slaying Saturday of Davontae Wesley, 20, of Vallejo, who was found shot and killed about 6 p.m. at 34th Street and Nevin Avenue, police Lt. Mark Gagan said.
The alleged shooter, Deshane Warren, 20, of Richmond was booked on suspicion of murder, carrying a concealed firearm and carrying a loaded firearm in public. He was being held at Contra Costa County Jail in lieu of $1 million bail.
Chad Walker, 21, of Richmond, whom police believe drove Warren from the scene, was arrested on suspicion of murder, conspiracy and probation violation. Walker is being held in lieu of $2 million bail.
