Genao had managed to elude a 300-officer manhunt for almost a day after gunfire erupted when FBI agents came upon three men leaving a bank that was robbed in Readington, in north-central New Jersey.
Agent Barry Lee Bush was killed Thursday by bullets that the FBI said may have come from another agent.
