A man was killed and a woman critically injured during a shooting in East Oakland early Sunday, police said.The victims of the 2:53 a.m. shooting on the 1800 block of 89th Avenue, who were each struck multiple times by bullets, were not immediately identified. The man was pronounced dead at the scene; the woman was taken to a hospital.
No arrests have been made.
Oakland police are also investigating a suspected murder-suicide that happened Saturday morning in an apartment on the 1800 block of East 25th Street.
