A San Francisco streetcar struck a man then dragged him for three blocks before stopping in a fatal accident in the Sunset District on Wednesday night that authorities described as gruesome.The victim, who has not been identified, was apparently hit by an N-Judah streetcar on 31st Avenue and Judah Street at about 9:04 p.m. and dragged to 28th and Judah, said San Francisco police Sgt. Neville Gittens.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"I was told that it was a scene that stretched several blocks and it was very bloody," Gittens said.
