PDT FREMONT - A 17-year-old boy has been charged as an adult with killing a Fremont man across from a high school, court records show.Keith Stamps was charged with one count of murder in the shooting death last week of Elric Wheeler, 24, at a strip mall at Blacow Road and Grimmer Boulevard, across from Irvington High School.
Two other men were arrested in connection with the case, but they have not been charged with murder.
The shooting happened about 12:30 p.m. Oct. 23 after a car pulled up next to a parked Buick where Wheeler, a father of two, and several other men were sitting. Stamps allegedly pulled a gun, and Wheeler and the others ran.
