Three-time champions Sao Paulo were upset by Chilean side Audax Italiano to miss the chance to secure a place in the second stage of the Libertadores Cup, South America's premier club competition. Unbeaten Sao Paulo needed to win in Chile, but were beaten 1-0 as substitute Ramos scored the winning goal in the 77th minute after a cross by fellow replacement Nicolas Revecco.In another group seven match, Colombian club Atletico Nacional eliminated Paraguay's Sportivo Luqueno with a 3-1 victory.
Sao Paulo share the lead with Atletico Nacional on eight points, while Audax are in close order with seven points. Sportivo Luqueno have four. Only the top two teams in each group advance.
Sao Paulo will host Atletico Nacional on April 23, and Luqueno will entertain Audax Italiano.
