British Prime Minister Tony Blair will unveil the results of a major foreign policy review on Monday, his office said.
Blair, who is expected to stand down as leader in May, held discussions with senior Cabinet colleagues before sanctioning the wide-reaching paper.
"It's essentially a document which reflects on the last 10 years of policy and uses that to see how we may continue or conduct foreign policy in the future," said a Downing Street spokesman, speaking on condition of anonymity in line with department policy.
