In an interview with the Guardian on 23 May, the Dalia Lama has declared to have received information from a "military source" in Tibet that after the Olympics, the Chinese government has a plan; “1 million Chinese are going to settle in the autonomous region of Tibet… Then the very basis of the idea of autonomy becomes meaningless.” Tibetans in Tibet have also informed the Dalai Lama that larges pieces of land have been marked out in the last 2 years, seemingly for purposes of construction.Read More
