Single pop Kevin Federline is doing his best to keep a brave face for Britney Spears and their two children, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1. He’s even putting fatherhood before fame while his ex-wife is hopefully on the mend.According to the New York Post’s Page Six, Kevin spoke with Britney at least twice during her extended stay at the Stewart & Lynda Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital at the UCLA Medical Center. While Britney wasn’t exactly lucid throughout the phone calls, even breaking out her faux British accent at one point, a source says K-Fed does his best to stay cool.
“Kevin keeps it very clinical as he does not want to create any extra emotions for Britney right now,” the Federline family insider told Page Six. “The few times they chatted, Kevin had to cut it short because Britney went off on a tangent about Kevin kidnapping the boys from her. Kevin loves her — and wants her to get better for the boys — so he's trying not to let her get to him.”
