The U.S. dollar stumbled to a record low against the euro and was mixed against other major currencies in European trading Thursday morning. Gold was steady.The euro, in its second straight day of record-setting, hit an all-time high of $1.3927 Thursday morning. It then retreated to $1.3905 at 0950 GMT, down from $1.3908 late Wednesday in New York.
