Denver - Colorado's unemployment rate fell 0.2 percentage point to 3.6 percent in March, the lowest level in nearly six years.The rate compares with 3.8 percent in February of this year and 4.4 percent in March 2006, the state Labor and Employment Department reported today.
Total employment and unemployment both fell from the previous month, officials said. The number of employed Coloradans fell 12,200 to 2.57 million, adjusted for normal labor force movements.
The number of unemployed residents fell 3,800 to 97,300.
